My last post with endo (Thank God!!!)

I've suffered quite a bit today. I didn't realize until I couldn't take i.buprophen how much I relied on it. T.ylenol barely made a dent and if it wasn't for sleep and my heating pad I wouldn't have been able to do anything today.

I packed a bag just in case I do have to stay in the hospital. I'm not thinking clearly so I'm sure I didn't pack well, but at least I have the comfort of knowing that I'm prepared to stay. I hope and pray that I don't have to. I've been admitted twice in my life and both times were horrible (once for a really bad asthma attack and once for a really bad colitis flare-up). I've been praying all day that I will be able to come home and rest in my comfy house.

Thank you all for your support and prayers leading up to my surgery. My hubby is going to be texting Sew with updates so she will have the 411. I don't know what state I will be in if I do make it home tomorrow night, but I will try to get Mr. JB to update all of you if I'm lucid.

I'm no longer scared or anxious about my surgery. I've spent a lot of time praying and I know that this is where I'm supposed to be. Regardless of what the doctor finds tomorrow I will be okay with the outcome.

My surgery tomorrow marks our biggest step forward, and that's what I've been looking for all this time.

  1. I'll pray your surgery goes well and that you are feeling better. I'm having a laparoscopy myself in May. I'll be checking for updates and healings. God bless.

  2. You'll be in my prayers. My husband and friends tell me, now post surgery, that I look like I feel better... they can see it in my face :) Take things slow afterwards, I tried to do way too much and got sick with a fever, just take it slow and enjoy the relaxing time to heal. Much prayers - Nicole

  9. You're in my thoughts and prayers! I just had my second endometriosis stage four surgery on April 1st, which was a laparoscopy. They removed all the endo and adhesians. I was able to go home the same day. No hospital stay was required. The good news was that I had no endometriomas like I thought and when they checked my tubes, they were clear!! Hubby and I will have the green light to start trying again in two weeks. Hooray!!

I pray that you will also recieve good news. Please know that we are thinking of you and praying for good news for you too!

The most important thing is to take it easy, rest, keep those incisions clean (three tiny cuts, one in the belly button, one to the left of my belly above ovary, and one near ovary), and think positive thoughts!

Let us know how you are doing, okay?

    May God Bless you.

    Love,
    Maria
