If only...

I could stay in bed until tomorrow.

I would in a heartbeat.

But (there's always a but, isn't there?) today is also my fertile bf's daughter's First Communion and Mr JB's cousin's baby's baptism.

Two occasions that I have to attend and I have to pretend that I am not in mourning today.

Six Mother's Days have passed and I feel like I'm no closer to being a mother.

St Gianna, pray for us. St. Rose of Lima, pray for us. St. Gerard, pray for us. Blessed John Paul II, pray for us.

  1. I am so sorry. I know the pain all too well. I went through 9 childless mother's days. Painful!

  3. I'm sorry...I can't imagine your pain of 6 of them. God bless you and your faith! Its my first after trying a year and I found Mass most difficult: the homily I found very insensitive. Priest said, God bless the mothers w/ life and faith in there wombs...blah, blah....it made me sad.

    Thinking of you.

  7. I prayed for you specifically this morning. You were very heavy on my heart during mass. I know it seems impossible, but please do not give up hope.

  9. Jelly Belly you know I don't know anything about Gerard or Rose or Gianna. But I know a big amazing God who I can go to directly - He tells us to approach the throne of Grace in our time of need. I am doing that for you now and have been all day. I'm still praying for Labor Day. Let it be Lord, let it be. I am so sorry this week was a tough one. One of my hardest moments was after my second miscarriage when both of my best friends were expecting. Ryan's cousin reminded me to look up when it hurt most rather than look around. So hard to do, but such wise advice. Hugs to you.
