Blergh.

It's CD1.

I suspect that despite all the freaking needles which included a trigger on CD15, that I didn't ovulate.

Argh.

It also doesn't help that we're attending my crazy mother's 65th birthday/retirement party this afternoon.

Have I mentioned that I'm not the best at pretending that all is hunky dorey?

I'm trying really hard to focus on our homestudy.

Biological motherhood is not the only way.

But it always still smarts when AF arrives.

I'm just saying that there may be wine this evening.

Perhaps an entire bottle.

Blergh.

  5. You have been on such a long road and I'm sorry it is so rough and curvy. But wine at least keeps the motion sickness at bay! Praying.

  7. I'm going to have wine with you. This is my CD1 also... unless my body waits a few hours for it to be tomorrow morning.

Hugs and love and prayers and blessings - and thank you for sharing your story. I just found your blog through Rebecca's. Oh, hugs, and how I cannot wait for ALL of US AND our children (! no matter how they become our families!) to meet and laugh and play together.

Until then... wine for tonight. And hugs.

  8. I don't know how I would've coped with IF without wine. Cheaper than therapy. :) I am excited for your homestudy! You know I have had a strong feeling that 2013 is your year!

  10. I am so sorry JB! Hoping that things move quickly on the adoption front. Poor ovulation seems to be my problem too. Did u have a normal mucus buildup last cycle? Did you have ultrasounds to confirm ovulation?
I have normal mucus buildups and BBT rise but AF seems to be light and it all points to poor ovulation. Heck, I wish our ovaries would work!
