I know, I know. Thank God I had to sing tonight with all the old folks at the vigil Mass instead of tomorrow morning with all the young families and pregnant ladies. The Mother's Day Mass is always the worst. A big blessing, a brunch afterwards, carnations that they literally hand to all the women around me (ie reach across me to give to my friends). It just makes me want to say bad words...
Absolutely. We went to my inlaws with flowers last night and I am holding off til this evening's Mass. (We had no vigil in my parish last night because they were all off on a mini-pilgrimage). I am also planning on calling my Aunt (who's also my Godmother) and writing to a teacher who's a relgious today. My aunt lost her son a few years back, and it makes it easier for me to deal with the day when I remember that it can't be easy for her either.
Ironically, I have major cramps and bloating today, along with my "no baby" status! How lucky is that to have my period on Mother's Day. Just love it (sarcasm.)

Big fat donkey balls? Hmmm...interesting way of looking at things but it did make me laugh!
